Hello, Sorry to interrupt; but, can I ask for Digikam help here?

*Digikam & F-spot limitations w/HP Photosmart R742*

My Digikam recognizes my camera but fails to pull photos on my HP Photosmart
R742. My digikam album shows 58 photos out of +/- 300 on the HP. What
routine can I use to capture the remaining photos on my HP camera?

It would be nice to transfer photos on my hard drive into digikam album but
I can't call them in, i.e., from an Opera file or from prior F-Photo manager
downloads.

F-Spot photo manager forces one into the biz of manually overcoming
downloads photos from cascading folders named 2011 > 02 > 18 etc. & no way
to catalog photos alternatively.

Are these KDE specific; KXstudio 10.04.02 specific; or Digikam limitations
generally? My Mac G-4 downloaded all photos in minutes but I have no studio
that allows producing.
