cooler fan frequency hp probook 4410s ubuntuStudio

i believe the theory is that the graphics driver you are using is causing
the issue with the fan. i have a VIA graphics chip that does this, and i
have seen it with other hardware as well. what graphics chip do you have?
and what driver are you using? maybe you could try using the vesa driver as
a test..
