Hi Ronan, thanks for your response.
The shift key didn't do it, but the ESC key did.
To my surprise, all that showed were 2 different kernals for 
Xubuntu...no sign of Studio.
Is it possible for me to "see" if it's really there (doesn't show up 
under Places) other than using System Rescue disk?
