Hello Michael,
I have nit followed the whole thread, so sorry if I misunderstood
something...
Jack is indeed something like a universal patchbay in
Linux-audiosystems:
According to Your screenshot it seems that You have NOT connected the
Inputs and outputs. There should be lines between "capture_x" on the
left- and ardour_input on the right side as well as "ardour_master" or
"Ardour_bus" -or whatever You want to use as output- on the left to
"playback_y" on the right, indicating that they are connected.
You have to connect a virtual mixer and recording machine as well as
their hardware equivalents!
