Ubuntu-Studio-users Digest, Vol 30, Issue 12 yamaha dx 9

I joined the news group for ununtu and asked the other day about using my 
yamaha dx 9 as a piano and access the apps in studio 9 ive not received an 
answere yet or am i doing something wrong here
