lmms-alsa conflit

hi,
after the upgrade to Karmic my LMMS (only application that have tried) don't
work well: when it works the computer haven't a sound the i can hear
nothing; when i modify some alsa file and i have again a sound on my pc,
LMMS DON'T WORK....

what can i do to have my ubuntu studio  like before i upgrade it
