Jaunty -RT testing

I need to use NaturallySpeaking in a virtualized Win2K environment which requires real-time like performance. I run a KDE desktop.

# -generic kernel

Recording sound in audacity and sound recorder are choppy, unusable speech recognition.

# -rt kernel (2.6.28-2-rt #6-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT RT)

Recording performance seems to work well but...

1. 2nd CPU is shown to be at 100% in htop, though I don't think it is really (CPU benchmarks using taskset 02 do just as well as when otherwise idle load.) (Though at least SMP is available, 2.6.27-3-rt is still uniprocessor.)
2. Can not recover from going to sleep with kpowersave or Kickoff Suspend2RAM.

Back to hardy for now! :)
