I have no idea how to do it. I do not use any phone as a modem. I use 
public wlans (or hotel's free wlan) on the road, sorry for that.

ps. I do have N800 and a Nokia phone as a modem (via bluetooth) for N800 
in here Finland, but that is totally different story...
