Hi,

I am not a musician and very beginner. I tried TuxGuitar (http://www.tuxguitar.com.ar/). It is an opensource multitrack tablature editor and player and it has a score viewer and editor. Imports and exports gp3, gp4 and gp5 files. It is for Linux and Windows.

Saludos!

Rafael

hi,

If beginners practise finale (closed source application) and they have to
exchange with this software.

Why won't they use MuseScore application Opensource. It's WYSIWYG.

They can exchange with the file format Music XML with the finale users.

Many of musicians don't want to learn script writing. Perhaps, it's sad but
it's the reality...

cordialement
