Hi,
I'm using cinelerra, kino, kdenlive and open movie editor.
the best one and the more professional close to ubuntu studio idea is
Cinelerra.
We are making deb package to complete ubuntu repository (lprod.org)
Kino is ok, fine, stable and powerfull, and excellent for beginners.
kdenlive is powerfull, stable under gutsy, advanced but need 1 Go ram's
memory to work fine. It is more complete than kino.
Open movie editor, is simple, stable, powerfull too, less than kdenlive,
i've asked his author about french language, at this time, impossible to
complete another language except english. We could help for translation,
but the author seems not to know how to program the language support, so
many a bit young, a future good software.
Kino, kdenlive and OME could be included together in hardy.
Laurent
