I am very disappointed that Sony have won this war. A lot of their gear, particularly their minidisc range was very good quality, but they are waaaay to proprietary. If they really wanted us to run Linux well on the PS3, they would have given us proper access to othe ehardrware /GPU etc.

I am very disappointed that Sony have won this war, and don't intend to give them another cent. Their minidisc, as well as other gear was great, but too proprietary. If they really believed in Linux/wanted to support Linux, more of PS3's hardware would be accessible eIMO.

I'll stick with DVD for now, until I have to change. Hopefully flash will be a more viable option then.
