Sudo works on command line, gksudo is for X. I also use "ssh -X" between
http://wiki.ubuntu-fi.org/Wiki/HDR_M-Audio_Delta_66 (sorry, finnish only)
I got laptop as daw (Digital Audio Workstation) and pc without graphical
dekstop (Gnome, KDE, you name it) as HDR (Hard Disc Recorder).
But when I connect from laptop with ssh -X to the pc I can run a
graphical program, let's say envy24control, on the laptop's Gnome
desktop. Very powerfull combination.
Best regards Asmo Koskinen.
