How do I get my posts answered?

How many have you posted here.  I only see three threads you started here, 
including this one.

"Noob says hello" where you ask how to search list archives.  The rest was 
more or less just a rant and a comparison to Mac something or other I know 
and care nothing about.

I don't know anything about the list archives, and if there was any question 
in the rest of the message, it was an implicit question not directed at 
someone with my background.  So I had nothing to add to that one, and ignored 
you.

Your next two were about Gutsy.  I haven't screwed with Gutsy yet.  Do you 
know how many years I've waited to have an audio setup that worked as well as 
my Ubuntu Studio Feisty installation does?  I'm not going to screw with it 
until I have to, and I couldn't care less about Gutsy at the moment.  So I 
had nothing to add to that one either, and ignored you again.

I ignore most questions on most lists these days.  It's nothing personal.  I 
lost my job, and now I have to work an insane amount of hours to earn less 
money than before, and my life sucks, and I haven't been happy all year.
