Audigy 2 ZS notebook (not able to record)

Hi ,

I am using a Firewire card to make very cool recording with some good mics , 
but I would like also being able to record with my audigy 2 ZS notebook, 
that i am using as the first sound card , it plays fine and it constitutes a 
very compact solution adapted to some cases.

The propblem is, I am not able to record and when I try to activate the line 
and mic in
the mixer it doesn't work and the mixer app crash. (and after i cannnot 
poweroff the laptop
without the hardware button)
So, everything is working , but not the recording.

I installed alsa-driver-1.0.14 , alsa-lib-1.0.14a, alsa-utils-1.0.14

from what i understood , the recording functions has been activated in this
drivers version.


Anyone who is using this soundcard for recording or not could give me the 
way to make
this working?
