Hi, Janne.
This is my /etc/apt/source.list

# deb cdrom:[Ubuntu 6.10 _Edgy Eft_ - Release i386 (20061025)]/ edgy main restricted
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty main restricted multiverse
deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty main restricted

# deb http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ edgy universe
# deb-src http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ edgy universe

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty-security main restricted multiverse
deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty-security main restricted
# deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu edgy-security universe
# deb-src http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu edgy-security universe

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com gutsy main

There's a lot of edgy and feisty stuff. Could that be it?
There are also the source.list.distUpgrade and the source.list.save files, which have no gutsy stuff in them.
Thanks again,
Pietro

Hello again,

there's gotta be something wrong with your /etc/apt/sources.list file,
 so
can you post it here?

Alternatively, here's mine:

jaska at bowmore:~$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list
# See http://help.ubuntu.com/community/UpgradeNotes for how to upgrade
 to
# newer versions of the distribution.

## Uncomment the following two lines to add software from Canonical's

deb-src http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu gutsy-security universe
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu gutsy-security multiverse
deb-src http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu gutsy-security multiverse

Now I can't recall and am too lazy to check whether all the components
listed above were already for feisty (partner comes to mind), but you
 should
be pretty much all set if you copy that and change gusty to feisty,
 with a
simple sed command for instance:

# sed -i s/gutsy/feisty/g /etc/apt/sources.list

Back up the file first and all the other common disclaimers go here. :)
