Cory,
I'm beginning to see what you mean. I came to Ubuntu because my xp
back up disk is corrupted and xp kept crashing while doing video. They
want to sell my a new copy.
I had a good install of ubuntu with cinelerra in it that worked
with a few glitches. I thought by installing ubuntu studio. Ubuntu
would be better configured to run video. I have been fooling with this
almost a month and though I am learning some things and enjoying myself
I am not getting any video edited.
I had been using Premeire to learn on but don't own it so I don't
want to use it to make a video on. I had hopes of finding a free or
cheap program that I could get good results with.
I may have to go back to Microsoft
and buy Premeir or Pinacle or something.
                                                    Doug
