M-Audio Delta 1010LT audio interface help

hi, have the same setup here and it is working out of the box...
did u check does the jack use right hw device? (setup - input device -hw:0
or 1 or 2)
i have 3 of them (delta 1010lt, internal via chip and a tv card and my
ubuntu box (or alsa) change the number of the device each time i boot maybe
there is the problem.
