You may be able to get it to work with the driver suggested by the other 
poster.  If you can't, don't despair.  My experience with Lexmark is that 
they are one of the more evil sources of hardware for the Linux user.  I put 
them in the category of sadistic tease hardware that makes you think it's 
going to work long enough to waste a lot of your time and hope, but 
ultimately leaves you frustrated and angry.

If you can't get it working, you're in good company.  The only way I've found 
to solve a Lexmark problem once and for all is to smash it to bits with a 
nice heavy hammer, and then buy an HP.
