<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div>Hi,<br><br></div>I use the Pulse->Jack audio path because it allows me to edit music and at the same time listen to (and eventually use, shhh...) pre-recorded music available by commercial mediums (AKA spotify, youtube, vimeo, etc).<br><br></div>Mi notebook has PulseAudio available by default but, via a little script, every time I start jack I redirect the audio from Pulseaudio to JACK.<br><br>This works great for me because every time I want to play music it gets played by the "best audio gear available". when Will Godfrey posts the final analysis of his poll, I will ask those<br>
who don't use Jack or ALSA for audio production, for the reasons that<br>
they don't use Jack or ALSA. I dislike the idea of making two sound<br>
servers Pulse->Jack the default of a distro for artists and I fear that<br>
a few users aren't aware about the possible drawbacks when using this<br>
combination.<br>
