Well, i didn't thought on this a a ubuntu-tweak like thing. This tool is aimed at people that want to use pro audio/video, as i give workshops on stuff, i see people getting confused with the ppa adding and then installing software. We should remember, not everyone has the last release, and not all software is backported, let alone the pro audio software. This tools is not for the pro users, but for the first comers. Also ading a performance "detection" script will largely help people configure the system and also they can give the output to more experienced user at once, easing the process of support.<br>
<br>About the GUI design, this was just an idea, but a different layout can be made.<br><br>About the network manager, i think its a good idea to have it by default on the install, we even have a good alternative (wicd) on the ubuntu repos.<br>
