hey Peter,
I've got experience working on cover art, albeit just my own books, but I can definitely try my hand at it and submit it to you or everyone for approval.
per your current title suggestions, I like them all but the one you consider the working title's great. It's general in nature since some people who work with music just do programming like with hydrogen for drums and synth and some do with guitars, bass, vocals and all of the live band stuff. So it definitely fits the best, IMO.
But let me try to work on some stuff and I'll do my best to get that to you/everyone. what format should i save it as? i usually do it in .png format and what resolution do you need?
One question, is this manual going to be available to download like in PDF/mobi/ebook/etc as well? I can't remember if that's been a topic that's been tabled yet. Because I love the idea of having it available as a download so I or anyone can use it on a separate device to reduce the amount of open windows on a computer and make it easier to view while working with the system like in my studio I'd like to have a handheld device (ebook reader) to look at and reference it while I work with the software.

I am keeping the HTML pretty raw - I assume a stylesheet can be applied later. So far I made a blockquote style, but don't expect to do much more styling. I might try my hand at a cover/thumbnail once it's all converted, but would like to see if anyone with true graphic design experience might be willing to take it on.
