In the meantime, you could set up a development version of Ubuntu Studio:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuStudio/InstallDevelopmentRelease

And then run some of the application test cases linked from here here
(Xenial Daily > Ubuntu Studio):
http://packages.qa.ubuntu.com/

Some of the test cases are quite short. So feel free to go further with
the testing and report any crashes or strange behaviour.
