[ubuntu-studio-devel] Art Team: Ubuntustudio Design Assets questions

I've done some cleaning up of our artwork branch, and set up a new
routine for us when dealing with artwork material.
There are now three branches as you can see here
https://code.launchpad.net/ubuntustudio-artwork

Before I explain a bit more, I want to clarify one thing about the LP
urls.

lp:ubuntustudio-artwork is not the url to the repo in itself. Each
launchpad project has a lp:<projectname> available, and you can point
that to any repo you like. This setting can be adjusted at the project
main page http://launchpad.net/ubuntustudio-artwork.
In this case lp:ubuntustudio-artwork points to the actual url
lp:~ubuntustudio-art/ubuntustudio-artwork/trunk.

So, what I have done now is:
* renamed lp:~ubuntustudio-art/ubuntustudio-artwork/trunk and called it
lp:~ubuntustudio-art/ubuntustudio-artwork/15.10.
* Created a new branch with the url
lp:~ubuntustudio-art/ubuntustudio-artwork/trunk, which will serve as
trunk until the release of 16.04
* Created a third branch with the url
lp:~ubuntustudio-art/ubuntustudio-artwork/current-standard

The 'current-standard' repo should only contain standard materials that
we are absolutely clear about using right now. If you want to check out
the current standard, pull the branch with:
  bzr branch lp:~ubuntustudio-art/ubuntustudio-artwork/current-standard

All new artwork that we do for 16.04 should be added to the trunk
branch, so if you want to add new artwork, remove or rename the old
folder you pulled, and then pull the trunk branch for the first time,
like you did before with:
  bzr branch lp:ubuntustudio-artwork (lp:ubuntustudio-artwork is
  interchangeable with lp:~ubuntustudio-art/ubuntustudio-artwork/trunk)

We are missing some stuff in the current standards branch. I will add
whatever I know for sure we are using right now. Beyond that, it is a
matter of discussion and really more of problem for the art lead rather
than me, but I will try to fill in while Zak is not available. Hopefully
there's more material at hand by the end of this week.

Hope this clears things up a bit :)

/Kaj
