No problem, since synaptic already is installed and it also can't be
launched by the menu.

Btw. I can launch them from command line.

  [weremouse at moonstudio ~]$ ubuntustudio-controls-pkexec
  ==== AUTHENTICATING FOR com.ubuntustudio.pkexec.ubuntustudio-controls ===
  Authentication is required to run Ubuntu Studio Controls
  Authenticating as: Ralf Mardorf,,, (weremouse)
  Password:
  ==== AUTHENTICATION COMPLETE ===
  [snip]
  [weremouse at moonstudio ~]$ synaptic-pkexec
  ==== AUTHENTICATING FOR com.ubuntu.pkexec.synaptic ===
  Authentication is required to run the Synaptic Package Manager
  Authenticating as: Ralf Mardorf,,, (weremouse)
  Password:
  ==== AUTHENTICATION COMPLETE ===
  [snip]
  [weremouse at moonstudio ~]$ gparted-pkexec
  ==== AUTHENTICATING FOR com.ubuntu.pkexec.gparted ===
  Authentication is required to run the GParted Partition Editor
  Authenticating as: Ralf Mardorf,,, (weremouse)
  Password:
  ==== AUTHENTICATION COMPLETE ===
  [snip]

So authentication works, just a window to give the password is missing when
using a menu. However, better make such dependencies optional. Not everybody
likes to use pkexec and/or gksudo, kdesu.

I don't want to install policykit-desktop-privileges to "run common desktop
actions without password" assumed this should be needed. Nobody should be able
to run ubuntustudio-controls, synaptic, gparted without a password.

If such a menu is started by a menu, the a window should open wer the user
can enter the password.
