I have noted that no-one has mentioned the Testing Role over the last
few weeks.

I really feel that application testing is important. Because Ubuntu
(except for LTS releases) syncs from Debian unstable, many times a
package can be shipped with Ubuntu which has not had significant
testing. You can see this after a release with all the "this package
does not work" bugs.

As I have had a go at writing some test cases, I would be happy to put
my name in the hat for leading testing, and continuing that work.

My only worry is my availability at the appropriate times of the release
cycle. I suppose I would have to plan better.
