Unable to change instrument on Old GS MIDI Files.

Here is an old midi file I made back in 1997 using midisoft studio.

There were 4 tracks Bass, Piano, Strings and Drums.

When I import it into Ardour I get 6 tracks (which is very cool) because
Ardour divides up the drum instruments.

Problem

*There is no interface to the bank and patch settings.*..... I
think.........

I can't change the instruments well… I can change them but every time I
rewind the songs they go back to the original instruments.

I tried both Calf & Qsynth & Alsa and JACK Midi tno matter what combination
they all do the same thing However……

In LMMS I can change the instruments but…. there is no way to get the midi
file back edited.

Ardour has done a great job on the Midi and since I've been trying to do
this they have change a few things so…. I know they are working on it.

Anyway here is the midi file if anyone has any suggestions.
