I saw this snip in the irc logs:

I would guess no bug report was made. But we do need to test and bug 
report/fix if this is a problem.

There may be other env paths not set as well. It seems to me one of the 
synths that uses sound fonts can't find the two sound fonts we ship 
either. LMMS does not not know where sound fonts are. qsynth does.
