Hi All,

I just thought I would use this opportunity to introduce myself to the
Ubuntu Studio development team.

Currently I am working to become a Debian Maintainer, and I have had a
few successful sponsored uploads of the package I am maintaining there.
I am also doing a bit of bug triaging in the Debian pkg-multimedia team
and learning my way around packaging in general for Debian.

I have just started using Ubuntu Studio with my old music gear after not
touching it for several years. I would also love to help out with Ubuntu
Studio where I can, and there is a pending application to join the
"contributors" team in Launchpad.

Although I did some programming in my younger days, my work as an
Engineer has caused me to drift away from software lately. But I am
really enjoying getting back into this though Open Source and learning
some Python, C++ and PHP.
