In case I don't get to it...

If I do it, I will just replace the wallpaper with what zequence uploaded
for first and last slide and fix the text. Quick and simple. If someone
else has a better idea... Speak up :) I won't be available for 14 hours
from now or so to do it though. 2000utc at the earliest.

The source code for slideshows is maintained in lp:ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu
It's fairly simple html webpages, that one can easily view and modify.
Do you think you will be able to update them?

Bug description:
  The slide show for UbuntuStudio in ubiquity:
   - First and last slide use the current background prominently and
should be changed to reflect whatever new BG we use for lightdm or the
session.
   - The video slide may want to mention kdenlive
   - The graphics slide may want to mention krita
   - The photography slide mentions "Darkroom", but there is no such
program in our menu. Is this talking about Darktable?
