Status of new DE agnostic menu tests

I just verfied your fix to work in GNOME 3.6, GNOME 3.6 with Frippery,
Cairo-Dock, and it works fine with or without this fix in Cinnamon.
The file that must be edited is /etc/xdg/menus/applications.menu
