No, the card has got it's own RAM, but indeed 256MB own RAM, the same MB
are missing.

I don't have the time to boot all kernels I use now, but yes, at least
for one other install, with another 64-bit kernel it's the same. And at
least two (32-bit) PAE kernels for another install don't have this
issue.
