mar 13 iso will not install

todays iso (mar13 here) boots live no problem, but when I install the
install stops (hangs) at configuring target system. I will not have time
to do the bug report tonight but wanted to post in case this something to
do with one of our changes. here is the syslog last bit:

I noticed that some lowlatency stuff is there but no kernel. Same in the
live session.
