As an interesting side note, a friend of mine who does professional
photography, switched to digital way back when the resolution was about 4
or 5 mp. He regularly put his 8x10 pictures in photo competitions and won
prizes without them being in a special category for digital cameras... I
don't know that he told them they were digital photos. He did do a lot of
processing on the computer afterwards. I don't know that there is a big
difference from one to the other.
