No audio output using Precise due to pulseaudio?

I also tested Thunar and a mp3 file. It's very simple, PA only "sees"
the 2 Envy24 cards, but I don't use those cards for audio, for me they
are MIDI interfaces only. For audio I'll use the RME card.

FWIW hdspmixer is ok:
