Ubuntu Studio 11.10 UI discussion. GNOME3, Unity, XFCE and Studiousers workflow.

So just looking over a few days it looks like the general consensus if
that XFCE will be fine. (i'm still gonna wait for more opinions)

There's been many questions that require data to answer. I cannot
answer everything. I'm here to head up the effort. So, the folks here
will have to pull together and do some investigation if real numbers
are needed.

Note, that I'm against just messing with our seeds a bunch to create
different disks. That said, if anyone wants to hack on some custom
live disks (outside of our normal build system) to use to use for
testing that will be most welcome.

Lastly, I think waiting 'till this weekend to have a generally agreed
upon direction is the way we're gonna go. We can't leave a topic open
indefinitely.
