These two programs fill distinct niches in the DJ world; terminatorx is
designed more for using the computer as a turntable-like scratch interface,
whereas mixxx is more suitable for mixing a DJset (now that it has vinyl
timecode support it too has realistic scratching, but in an entirely
different setup than terminatorx).
I personally like XWAX rather than mixxx, but mixxx has many more features
and has been around longer (and is already packaged - though currently quite
buggy on hardy).
That's just my 2cents.
