---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Current Ubuntu 8.0.6-1ubuntu3 carries:

- d/p/0003-Fix-infinite-loop-during-module-symbols-initialization.patch
Resolves an issue where gap regions between modules causes an infinite
loop that prevents crash from loading

Can be dropped. Is resolved by the update to upstream 9.0.1.

- d/p/0004-Fix-the-failing-of-cmd-files-for-v6.14-rc1-kernel.patch: Fix cmd
files by matching rename of kernel struct member d_iname to d_shortname

Can be dropped. Is resolved by the update to upstream 9.0.1.

- d/t/live: If the "live" autopkgtest fails with a recommendation to
try /proc/kcore instead of the default, attempt that before
  failing the test. LP 1858958.
  last upload.
- d/t/live: Fix logic issue in "live" autopkgtest introduced in the
- d/t/live: Fix test, as if will return 0 when no cases were true.
- d/t/control: Run autopkg test with allow-stderr.

Can be dropped. Going forward, we want autopkgtest to fail in this case
so that we know we have to update crash.

- d/t/control: Add linux-libc-dev dependency for the autopkg test.
This package gets usually broken with kernel upgrades, so let it
already show in the autopkg test.

Can be dropped. Not sure what this is really for but from the
description it sounds like a kernel issue so shouldn't be tested here?
This change was introduced in Impish, so is quite old and like no longer
relevant.

- Pass CFLAGS when building extensions.

Can be dropped. Is resolved by the update to upstream 9.0.1.
