Title:
AArch64: Processor Name in GNOME System Info is blank
Status in libgtop2 package in Ubuntu:
In Progress
Status in libgtop2 source package in Noble:
In Progress
Bug description:
Per upstream bugs https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libgtop/-/issues/60
and https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libgtop/-/issues/66, libgtop (used
by GNOME and Xfce) doesn't know how to read the processor name on
non-x86 systems.
/proc/cpuinfo which it uses doesn't contain the processor name on
AArch64 systems. Instead it should read output from `lscpu`, or the
SMBIOS processor table.
