The binary packaging builds lintian clean (with well-commented
overrides), which is nice to see! d/watch is present and successfully
indicates package is up to date with upstream. The package contains pre-
built binaries for a single architecture (amd64), but that's acceptable
given it's targetting specific laptops which will only support that
architecture. There's one (fairly extensive) patch but I see that's
actively being reviewed upstream, so there's a good possibility it will
disappear in a future revision.

All in all, I'm happy to sponsor this for plucky. There are a couple of
changes I need to make, but I'll make these during upload as they're
trivial:

* Remove ~ppa1 suffix

* Correct LP:# bug link in d/changelog

* Add XS-Autobuild: yes to d/control. This is simply because there's a
lintian error on source build (source-only-upload-to-non-free-without-
autobuild), but I think that's a false positive for Ubuntu (I don't
think we take any notice of XS-Autobuild). Still, there should be no
harm in adding this to suppress the error

Subscribing ubuntu-archive as AA review will be required for new
package.

  modules

Status in OEM Priority Project:
  In Progress
Status in Ubuntu:
  In Progress

Bug description:
  Version: 4.2.1
  URL: https://github.com/foxconn-pc/fii_linux
  License: Proprietary
  Description: Support for Foxconn WWAN modules

  The package mainly provides "foxconn-foxflss-service", which is a
  binary-only file for FCC Unlock procedure, and will be used by
  ModemManager: https://modemmanager.org/docs/modemmanager/fcc-unlock/

  Also, the package foxconn-test-quick-suspend-resume is to allow modem
  to stay on when host is suspended.

  The packaging will include modaliases, which is not available in
  Debian packaging.

  This package will be uploaded to multiverse due to non dfsg-free
  contents.
