  Currently there is a bug in the AIDE package on Ubuntu where it would
  fail to run on certain sources and return error code 17.

  The fix has already been merged into Debian and this is a simple back-
  port of that patch.

  1- Install the aide package: % sudo apt install aide -y
  2- Add a corrupted sources file as the one mentioned in the original description
  3- run aide and the following error will appear:

  Hi,
  After i installed protonvpn, i got this error. aide didnt start anymore.
  aide version: 0.17.4.1
  ubuntu 22.04 LTS pro,
