You have been requested to review the proposed merge of ~nhutsko/ubuntu/+source/glibc:belarusian-spelling into ubuntu/+source/glibc:ubuntu/devel.

For more details, see:
https://code.launchpad.net/~nhutsko/ubuntu/+source/glibc/+git/glibc/+merge/458431

This merge request aims to update the spelling of the Belarusian language across the project files. Currently, the project uses the term "Byelorussian." This change proposes the adoption of the term "Belarusian," which is the officially recognized and widely accepted English name for the language.

Rationale:
- Alignment with Official Standards: The term "Belarusian" is the officially recognized English name for the language spoken in Belarus. This change aligns our project with international standards and official nomenclature.
- Consistency with Global Usage: "Belarusian" is the term used by major linguistic and geopolitical entities, including the United Nations, the U.S. State Department, and the European Union.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Using the correct and preferred language name shows respect for the cultural identity of the Belarusian people.
