Hi Hector,
Reviewing brand new packages is usually a fairly involved task, much
more so than updates to existing packages. As such, it is much
preferable that a Canonical engineer with suitable upload permissions
schedule some time explicitly for this task as part of their workload,
rather than using the community sponsorship queue. For instance, you (or
your manager) could either find a MOTU or Core Dev in your team to do
so, or get in touch with relevant Ubuntu Engineering teams.

Title:
[needs-packaging] Intel quickassist (QAT) : qatlib
Status in Ubuntu:
In Progress
Bug description:
Intel(R) QuickAssist Technology (Intel(R) QAT) provides hardware
acceleration for offloading security, authentication and compression
services from the CPU, thus significantly increasing the performance
and efficiency of standard platform solutions.
Its services include symmetric encryption and authentication,
asymmetric encryption, digital signatures, RSA, DH and ECC, and
lossless data compression.
This package provides user space libraries that allow access to
Intel(R) QuickAssist devices and expose the Intel(R) QuickAssist APIs
and sample codes.
