Hi Pragyansh,
Could you do this merge using git-ubuntu? It already has a rich history, doing the merge through debdiffs would lose that.

I usually use the documentation at https://github.com/canonical/ubuntu-
maintainers-handbook/blob/main/PackageMerging.md for how to proceed.
