I have gotten the Ubuntu ACPI patch in question enabled in Debian, it
has been uploaded, so I have bumped the version on this bug, and it is
now a valid sync request.

** Summary changed:

- Sync efivar 38-2 (main) from Debian unstable (main)
+ Sync efivar 38-3 (main) from Debian unstable (main)

** Description changed:

- Please sync efivar 38-2 (main) from Debian unstable (main)
+ Please sync efivar 38-3 (main) from Debian unstable (main)

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
- * Fix creation of boot options on non-ACPI systems (LP: #2029407)
- d/p/0001-linux-handle-non-ACPI-systems-in-device_get.patch
- * Ignore stringop-truncation warnings in text_to_guid, seen when building
- with lto.
+   * Fix creation of boot options on non-ACPI systems (LP: #2029407)
+     d/p/0001-linux-handle-non-ACPI-systems-in-device_get.patch
+   * Ignore stringop-truncation warnings in text_to_guid, seen when building
+     with lto.

The 0001-linux-handle-non-ACPI-.... patch is now included in Debian.

The stringop-truncation warning patch seems unnecessary given build
  success without it.
