Hi, thanks for your work on this!

In normal cases, a package upgrade past Feature Freeze requires an
exception: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess - that being
said, I recognize that this is potentially an OEM-related issue, and as
such, I'll keep the sponsors team subscribed.

That being said, I'd appreciate an ACK from the Release Team prior to
sponsorship.
