Yes please, we would like to see the Ubuntu delta applied on top of debian/sid. With git we can easily see what changes you made to the ubuntu delta, if any, but here for launchpad, the MP should be against debian/sid.

That being said, I started doing the merge myself with git-ubuntu, to make it easier to check what you did, and I'm finding discrepancies in the previous uploads of this package between that is in d/changelog, and the actual contents.

For example:

icu (72.1-3ubuntu2) lunar; urgency=medium

  * d/p/test-canonical-ids.patch: update TestCanonicalIDs to match latest
    tzdata, including the de-aliasing due to pre-1970 data (LP: #2016021)

But the actual upload contains more changes, even two new patch files, but without a reference to them in d/p/series:
