Bug description:
  marco 1.24.0-1ubuntu1 in Ubuntu 20.04 ships with the Ubuntu-specific
  patch debian/0001_fix_segfaults.patch which includes this part:

  +      else {
  +        g_warning ("Visible region is null");
       }
  +  }

  
  Thanks to this (unnecessary) part of patch ~/.xsession-errors gets filled with this (for example it is now 5MB with 82000 lines with this message).
