Title:
  Autopkgtest fail with glibc 2.34

Status in wmanager package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress

Bug description:
The autopkgtests fail with glibc 2.34, while running them with the
  plain impish.

The superficial failure is that the script cannot find the expected
window name. Looking into it, it appears that this might be caused by
wmanager displaying an error popup instead of its main window. One
possible reason for such popup is not being able to read the
wmanagerrc file, which defaults in $HOME/.wmanagerrc (but the script
sets it to a custom location in /tmp).

Next step will be to find out exactly the cause of the failure.
