You have been subscribed to a public bug by Ubuntu Foundations Team Bug Bot (crichton):
When attempting to run doomsday 1.15.8-3 on Ubuntu 17.04 it immediately
segfaults.
This (and a separate segfault which happens when attempting to start a
new game [1]) are both resolved in Debian with version 1.15.8-5. It has
been synced to Ubuntu Artful so the issue should be resolved for future
releases, but is still present in 17.04.
