ok, that looks overall good. I'm wondering though about the
maintainibility of this as it starts to have multiple lines (like, what
happens if a new icon size is shipped?).

What do you think about challenging this (and you ;)) up and adding a
loop in debian/rules in the install target to create those symlinks at
build-time?

Title:
  Better sound settings icons

Status in adwaita-icon-theme package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress
Status in gnome-control-center package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  It would be nice to have speaker, headphone and mic icons instead of
  just the audio-card icon shown in Sound Settings today.

  We need the following things:
   * PulseAudio 3.0 [Check, released in Raring]
   * Gnome-control-center patch: [here: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~diwic/gnome-control-center/new-icons/revision/543]
   * An audio-speaker icon [Needs to move from gnome-icon-theme-full to gnome-icon-theme]
   * An audio-headphones icon [Missing, there is one in oxygen-icon-theme though, but not sure if we can use it?]
   * An audio-handsfree icon [Missing]

  One possibility could be to do a symlink between audio-headphones and
  audio-handsfree to the audio-headset icon, if we don't get any new
  icons.
